A mailing list is a list of email addresses that receive one and the same email simultaneously. When you send a message to the mailing list address, it will be re-sent to all the addresses on that list automatically, but none of the receivers will become aware of who the rest of the recipients are. In the general case, one has to join a list, but sometimes mailboxes are included manually without the consent of their owners. Based on the particular mailing list administration software, you may also be able to add new subscribers, so users will not be able to sign up for your mailing list unless you okay their signup request. The mailing list option is very useful in case you would like to send newsletters on a regular basis or some other sort of regular publications to customers, as you’ll need to send out one single email and all of the mailing list subscribers will receive it instantaneously. This way, you will not have to type in numerous mailboxes manually.
